Ruby's a busy girl. Just on the planet since 2003, she keeps popping up with her Mama all over the place. For fun, we're keeping a list. If you spot a sighting, send it on.

September - December 2007    Roo - the Hanna Andersson online girl - models an outfit for four months. In that time, every piece of the outfit sells out of stock, starting with the shoes! Is it her shayna punim? Of course it is! We're still on the lookout for her H&M instore installation as well.
Saturday, January 6, 2007    Roo, Mama & Our Fella in Insights Magazine, where Mama - majorly airbrushed! - is on the cover. The Montgomery College Magazine celebrates Mama as a 2006 Outstanding Alumna.
Monday, November 6, 2006    The Hannah Andersson Holiday Catalog came in the mail, with five fabulous pix of Ruby decking the halls.
Sunday, April 2, 2006    Roo ditched Mama for this one - a print ad for Kmart in which she appears all decked out for Easter with bonnet, basket and all.
Sunday, January 1, 2006    Time Out New York Kids. Well, how cool is this? For the article about parents who incorporate their kids in their entire lives, they used Roo's pic as the lead of the article! Our Dumpling Superstar...!
Thursday, September 22, 2005    New York Daily News. It's a Time Machine! Accompanying an article about mamas and a hot new marketing niche is a pic of Ru taken back when she was just a big, yummy Gingerbread baby with Mama on bass and our pals Angela and Serena. You can see it in "pix".
Tuesday, September 20, 2005    Okay... it's not technically a "sighting", but Mama mentions her favorite gal incessantly during her appearance on ABC TV's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with Meredith Viera, scheduled to air today. She even gave a picture, which some Philistine decreed couldn't be shown, grumble grumble...
Thursday, August 10, 2005    MICHIGAN WOMYN'S MUSIC FEST. When Ruby's sitter was nowhere to be seen, Mama brought Ru onstage while introducing the next musical act. When Mama had the entire audience say gently, "Hi, Ruby", 22-month old Ru leaned forward and said right into the microphone, "hi". All 6000 women said, "awwwww..."
Sunday, May 15, 2005    THE L WORD, SHOWTIME TV. Look for Ruby playing Bette Porter as a toddler. Even though it's just pretend, how awesome that the incredible Ossie Davis plays her grandfather - one reason for her name is Ossie's partner, Ruby Dee!
Friday, May 6, 2005    GOOD MORNING AMERICA, ABC TV. Featuring Mamapalooza performers, Ruby's photo appeared while Mama sang the song "Milky Way" about her.
Wednesday, April 27, 2005    THE WASHINGTON POST. Fabulous photo by Katherine Frey accompanied the lead story of the Style section (scan above).
Sunday, April 3, 2005    THE L WORD, Showtime. Mama walks in to The Planet holding Ruby with Daddy right behind.
Thursday, July 18, 2004    SALT LICK WEBSITE. The talented designers of custom t-shirts and onesies have Ruby modeling some of their adorable onesies for babies at www.saltlicknyc.com/kids.asp. Click on the bumblebee and see!

Thursday, December 3, 2003    THE NEW YORK DAILY NEWS. BETTY's first appearance with Ruby, everyone decked out in tinsel to announce the upcoming Holiday Shows at Joe's Pub.
Friday, September 4, 2003    THE NEW YORK DAILY NEWS. Before Ruby made her debut, there was a photo illustrating the dubious wonders of HypnoBirthing with an enormous photo of Mama entranced, with Daddy beside her pregnant belly.
